Capcom Spotlight Announced for Next Week, Will Feature Resident Evil 4 Remake And More

Capcom has announced that a showcase for their upcoming games will take place next week. The Japanese company has revealed that the Capcom Spotlight will showcase multiple titles including their flagship ones like Resident Evil 4 Remake, Monster Hunter Rise, and Exoprimal. Multiple other titles will be shown off as well.

The Capcom Spotlight will take place on March 9, 2023, and will continue for 26 minutes. The showcase will consist of a pre-show starting at 2:10 PM PT and a main show set at 2:30 PM PT. The main show will likely cater to heavy hitters like Resident Evil 4 Remake and Exoprimal. The showcase can be live-streamed via the official Capcom USA channel on Twitch.

With the RE4 Remake edging closer, Capcom has been revealing more and more about the title. The remake modernizes the original with revamped graphics and mechanics. We also recently learned about the new Knife system, removal of QTEs, side quests, different boss battles, and a revamped Ashley. The Spotlight is expected to show more of the improved gameplay elements.

Capcom’s next big project Exoprimal will also be showcased at the Capcom Spotlight. The game puts you in a world infiltrated with dinosaurs and you have to battle them using your exosuits. The release date is currently not known, so we expect Capcom to reveal it at the showcase. Moreover, the title is coming to Cloud gaming too along with consoles.

The Spotlight will also feature other titles including Monster Hunter Rise, the latest in the hunting series, Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, and Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective. You can tune in to the showcase when it happens on March 9.
