Forever Skies Map and Locations Guide

Forever Skies Map and Locations Guide

In this guide, we’ll tell you how the Forever Skies Map works and where you can find the Location Radar item that lets you see it!

Forever Skies puts you at the helm of a flying Ship above the skies of a ruined Earth. There are plenty of Resources to uncover as you play through the game’s story, but you’ll need to be able to find locations to loot on the Map before you can get them. Read on to learn more about the Map!

How to Get the Map in Forever Skies

You can get the Forever Skies Map by finding the Location Radar during the Navigation Technology Task.

Forever Skies Map Explanation

Forever Skies Map and Locations Guide - Map Location Radar Showing Tower Icons

Tea Forever Skies Map can be viewed by placing a Location Radar on the wall of your Ship. This game does not have a fixed Map; rather, there are various towers that are randomly placed as you fly through the skies. 3-Light locations and higher are shown on the edges of the map along with a distance measurement in kilometers.

Each and every tower has its own unique icon, all of which are represented in the images for each entry in this guide. Towers represented by a question mark (?) on the Map are a variant that you have not yet discovered; fly to it and land on it to add that class of tower to your database.

The Map also shows mountains — impassable barriers that you’ll have to fly around. Unfortunately, the mountains are pretty hard to see if you’re just glancing at the Map — make sure to keep your eyes out the window when you’re flying!

Forever Skies Rentals

Much like rafting, Forever Skies has a number of different location types for you to explore as you fly around in your Ship. These locations are divided into categories based on the type of tower you’ll find them on.

Please note that the Resources list for each location is not an all-inclusive list; some resources may not appear, and other unlisted Resources may appear based on spawn chances. All listed Resources have been confirmed at the listed locations firsthand.

1-Light / Orange Light Locations (Radio Tower)

Radio Towers can be accessed by the simplest of Ships; they represent the very first pieces of content that you’ll explore in Forever Skies.

3-Light / Green Light Locations

3-Light / Green Light locations are ideal places to go for Food and Biomass, although they aren’t without some dangers. You will ideally want at least 3 Turbines on your Ship in order to properly land on these towers.

Greenhouse Tower

Resources

The Greenhouse Tower is an excellent source of Food. You’ll also find many of the plants you need for Painting your Ship. Watch out for Lulling Grass Crickets — they’re the first hostile enemy you’re likely to encounter.

Purple Circle Light Locations (Lift)

“Lift” locations are marked by a purple light in a circle. They have virtually no useful resources in the towers themselves; instead, they serve as an access point for going back to the surface to explore Underdust locations.

Descent to the Underdust

Resources

Descent to the Underdust has a single Solid State Battery, but you’ll need it to access the Underdust locations below — don’t rely on keeping it for your Ship unless you want to forego heading back to the surface.

Under Dust Locations

Underdust locations are accessed through the large towers with a purple light inside of a circular structure. These locations are quite literally located “under the dust” and you’ll have to deal with an Oxygen Meter in addition to your normal stats.
