Harry Potter Magic Awakened: How to unlock Avada Kedavra
The only way to get Avada Kedavra in Harry Potter Magic Awakened (regardless of which house you choose) is to get it through Advanced Study which is a gatcha mechanic that draws random cards and gives them to you. One golden Key is required for every Advanced Study roll.
There is has 0.147% chance to get Avada Kedavra in Harry Potter Magic Awakened which is really low. Though it does seem impossible (unless you get really lucky) to get Avada Kedavra, there is one trick Harry Potter Magic Awakened uses to give us hope.
However, since Avada Kedavra is a Dark Card, after 19 Advanced Study rolls, then your twentieth Advanced Study attempt will yield a Mythic or Dark Card. There’s no guarantee that it’ll be Avada Kedavra, but since there are currently only three Mythic and/or Dark Cards, you have a 33% chance to get Avada Kedavra.
In my opinion, this is the best way to get Avada Kedavra in Harry Potter Magic Awakened. If you draw any Dark or Mythic Cards before 20 Advanced Study rolls, then your number of draws before getting a guaranteed Dark or Mythic Card is reset to zero.
How to get Golden Keys quickly in Harry Potter Magic Awakened
The catch to all of this is that you need golden Keys to draw Advanced Studies and Golden Keys are hard to come by. You can purchase one Golden Key for 300 Gems, but that quickly starts costing real-world money.
The best way to get Golden Keys for free is to complete Daily Tasks, win in the Dueling Club, and check out the Forbidden Forest. Eventually, you’ll earn a lot of Golden Keys and earn yourself Avada Kedavra.
