Microsoft Flight Simulator Tokushima & More Airports Released;  Skopje & Thruxton Announced

Third-party developers released new airports for Microsoft Flight Simulator while two more have been announced.

We start with Gate15Scenery which released its Tokushima Awaodori Airport (RJOS) in Japan. This airport has been in the works for quite some time, so it’s nice to see it finally released.

It’s currently available on Simmarket for $15.86 plus applicable VAT. Below you can check out what it looks like.

Next is CanadianFlightSimStudios, which launched Prince Rupert Airport (CYPR) in British Columbia, Canada. It’s currently available on Orbx Direct for $8.70 with the following features:

  • Accurate airport data
  • Fully custom and true to life airport models
  • Full use of MSFS physically based rendering technologies
  • HDR lighting
  • Custom vegetation models
  • Full use of MSFS dynamic weather and seasonal effects
  • Accurate nearby landmarks
  • Modeled hospital and helipad
  • Nearby bulk and container ports

Golfo de Morrosquillo Airport (SKTL) serving Tolú n Colombia has been released by Wingsim. It’s currently available on Simmarket for $6.43 plus applicable VAT.

Aerosoft announced a brand new upcoming airport and it’s Skopje International Airport (LWSK), the main airport serving the capital of North Macedonia. At the moment, we don’t have information on when it’ll be released, but you can check out a few screenshots.

Last, but not least, Burning Blue Design announced another small airport in the UK, Thruxton Aerodrome (EGHO), which will come with the nearby racing circuit. The developer is planning to release it in April.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently available for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Cloud Gaming, including Game Pass.
