Niantic recently launched Season 10: Rising Heroes on Pokémon Go, bringing to the AR game a ton of content. Currently, trainers are preparing for the Festival of Colors and Slowpoke Community Day events. The season also introduces new Pokémon like Gimmighoul and the two new Regis from Pokémon Sword and Shield – Regieleki and Regidrago.
Up until now, we hadn’t heard much about the two legendaries. Things are about to change as players prepare for Regidrago’s arrival in Pokémon Go. The dragon-type Pokémon is making its debut through Elite Raids which were introduced last season.
Regidrago will be available in Elite Raids on March 11th. It will hatch at three different time slots – 11:00 am, 2:00 pm, and 5:00 pm local time. Once the long 24-hour slumber has been completed, Regidrago will be available only for 30 minutes, so players will have to prepare their plan of attack in advance.
In addition to this, a Timed Research will unlock for trainers that complete the Elite Raid. It can be completed only once and will provide Candy for Regirock, Regice, and Registeel.
For those who haven’t heard about Elite Raids, this was a new kind of challenge introduced a few months ago. Similar to five-star raids, it features Legendary Pokémon, but they come as a result of special Raid Eggs hatching. It won’t be easy either, as the challenge level has been significantly upped.
Since it is an exclusive kind of raid, players cannot access Elite Raids through a Remote Raid Pass. They can be completed only in person by visiting a Gym with a team of other trainers. Then like usual, defeating the Pokémon will trigger an encounter with it.
Think you’re a good dragon-type trainer? No better place to test this out than by catching Regidrago in Pokémon Go. Participate in the Elite Raid soon by downloading the game for free using either link below.
