Com2uS has announced that New York Yankees pitcher Gerrit Cole will be the face of MLB Perfect Inning 23, the latest entry in the popular baseball series. Pre-registration is now open ahead of the launch later this month, and you can get Gerrit Cole’s Highlight Card and plenty of Player Packs by signing up ahead of time.
The upcoming installment promises to build upon the previous entry by delivering improved visuals alongside the usual updates to stadiums, uniforms, and team rosters. On top of that, the UI and UX have received a few tweaks that will hopefully make the game more intuitive.
Both the pitching and batting controls have received changes, making them easier to use for veterans and newcomers alike. The engine used in MLB Perfect Inning 23 was designed especially for a baseball game, so hopefully, it can deliver on the promise of lifelike visuals and animations.
At launch, MLB Perfect Inning 23 will host the Ultimate Welcome Event, which could net you rewards like Platinum Player Packs for moving to the new game. Additionally, you can expect to receive some Perfect Inning Coins, with the amount earned depending on your Perfect Inning 22 achievements.
It will also offer some new game modes, including Club Match mode, where you will be tasked with completing a series of challenges as a team. Meanwhile, you can now collect legendary baseball players by acquiring the newly added SE Legend Cards. Beyond that, there’s Franchise mode, Live Season mode, Rank Missions, and the PvP League to enjoy.
